Part 46 and part 48 Training for Mines in Austin, TX
Mines are important for our society, but they can be relatively hazardous places to work. Professional Safety Services understands that fact, so we offer professional safety training for all miners and anyone who works at a mine. We offer Part 46 and Part 48 training in Austin, TX.
Our Mining Training
The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) oversees all mine safety in the United States, and they require each person who works in a mine to be trained in safety. Here at Professional Safety Services, we offer the training that your workers need.
Part 46 training covers a large portion of surface mining operations. If your mine focuses on shell dredging, sand, gravel, surface clay or stone, surface limestone, or colloidal phosphate mining, or if you want to start working in a mine like those listed, Part 46 is the training you need. Our training covers basic, MSHA-approved safety courses for inexperienced or newly hired miners.
Part 48 training covers every other type of mining that Part 46 doesn’t. This training pertains to any other type of surface mining not covered under Part 46, and it also pertains to any and all underground mining operations. Our instructors and programs are MSHA-approved so that you know our training will keep you and your miners safe while they work.
